Ireland's Cian O'Connor won the second class event of the equestrian Nations Cup Show at La Baule, France, today.
The 23-year-old won the event in a time of 54.83 seconds on board his eight-year-old mare.
The result will come as welcome boost for the Irish ahead the opening Samsung Nations Cup Superleague competitions on Sunday.
Seven other international teams will be involved in Sunday's competition.
