Windhoek - Namibia's President Sam Nujoma was declared the victor in the country's presidential poll yesterday evening while his SWAPO party was confirmed as the winning party in National Assembly elections. Mr Nujoma gained 77 per cent support, with his nearest rival, Mr Ben Ulenga, of the Congress of Democrats trailing on 11 per cent.
