Newcastle's UEFA Cup clash with Valerenga, scheduled to take place in Norway in February, could be played at an alternative venue.
The Norwegian club contacted The Magpies today warning them about the weather conditions in Oslo in February.
The third round first leg match is due to take place on February 26 - and Newcastle are currently advising their fans not to make any travel arrangements until further notice, with a venue change to another country a possibility.
