The oral and practical exams in the Leaving and Junior Certificates have been postponed, it was announced today. The exams have been rescheduled because of the teachers' strike, and will begin on April 23rd.
Teachers returned to work earlier in the week as the ASTI agreed to ballot its 17,000 members on new Labour Court proposals after the teachers' conferences in two weeks' time.
