Nadir pilot freed on appeal

London - A pilot, Mr Peter Dimond (57), who was jailed for helping the fugitive tycoon, Mr Asil Nadir, escape to Northern Cyprus was freed by the Court of Appeal yesterday. Lord Bingham, sitting with Mr Justice Forbes and Mr Justice Harrison, decided that Mr Nadir was not on bail following his rearraignment in December 1992.
