Musgrave purchase of Northern Ireland-based food wholesaler and cash and carry J&J Haslett has received regulatory approval.
The transaction, which will be completed on September 17 thwas scrutinised by the Competition Authority and the Office of Fair Trade.
J&J Haslett supplies almost 200 Mace and 70 XL Stop and Shop outlets and also operated seven cash and carry businesses.
Up to the end of December last year the business employed 360 people and had a turnover of
£192 million sterling (€269m).
