Hong Kong - Mr Rupert Murdoch has been enlisted by the Hong Kong government as a key adviser on how to enhance the territory's attractions for foreign business and finance.
The appointment marks the final rapprochement between the head of News Corporation and the Chinese authorities and gives a significant boost to Mr Murdoch's ambitious plans for a pan-Chinese television and information technology network.
