Police in Co Antrim have launched a murder inquiry after a man's body was found in a flat in Ballymena last night.

Police in Co Antrim have launched a murder inquiry after a man's body was found in a flat in Ballymena last night.

The scene around the flat in the Dunclug area of the town was sealed off while detectives and forensic experts carried out a detailed search.

One man was arrested and is being questioned today about the murder.

At this stage, police did not believe there was any sectarian element to the killing, a PSNI spokesman added.
