The wife of a Dublin fast food shop owner, Mr Franco Sacco, was remanded on continuing bail for two months at Rathfarnham District Court yesterday on a charge of murder last Thursday. Judge Sean Delap told the court that a book of evidence against Ms Anna Marie Sacco (20), of Coolamber Park, Templeogue, "would never be ready in a month".
The judge said under the Criminal Justice Provisions Act, which came into effect yesterday, he could remand Ms Sacco with her consent for eight weeks.
The accused woman, dressed in black and accompanied in court by her parents, consented to a remand on continuing bail until May 21st for service of the book of evidence.
