A book of evidence was yesterday served on Mr Eric Considine (23), of Stone Court, Drumbiggle, Ennis, Co Clare, who is charged with the murder of a Belgian national, Mr Walter van Dael, at the Abbey Tourist Hostel, Harmony Row, Ennis, on July 26th. At Ennis District Court yesterday, Mr Considine was remanded in custody to reappear before the court on December 21st following an application from solicitor, Mr Gerry Flynn. Mr Flynn told the court that the Supreme Court would hear issues in relation to a bail application on Friday.
