London - A teenage British mother who had her new-born baby adopted failed in her legal challenge to win him back yesterday.

London - A teenage British mother who had her new-born baby adopted failed in her legal challenge to win him back yesterday.

In what he described as a "fearful' judgment, Mr Justice Sumner ruled that the 19-year-old mother had been unreasonable in changing her mind and asking for the return of the boy, who will be one year old today, from the couple with whom he has lived since last April.
