Leeds United midfielder Jody Morris will resume training tomorrow after the club concluded disciplinary action against him.

Leeds United midfielder Jody Morris will resume training tomorrow after the club concluded disciplinary action against him.

Earlier this month Morris was arrested and bailed by police investigating an allegation that a 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the Leeds area.

Following that the player was suspended for two weeks after consultation with Leeds officials and Morris' solicitor.

When that period expired Morris agreed to take a 10-day leave of absence to allow the club to conclude an internal investigation.

That has now been completed but the details of Morris' punishment have not been made public.

A statement from Leeds United said: "Disciplinary proceedings against Jody Morris were concluded this morning in accordance with the procedures set out in his contract of employment.

"It should be noted that these proceedings did not relate to matters forming the subject of the on-going police investigation.

"Appropriate disciplinary action has been taken against the player, the details of which remain confidential between employer and employee.

"The player will resume training tomorrow."
