London - Council chiefs in Morecambe have hit out at an article in a travel and leisure magazine labelling it as "cheap" and "sad".
The article in Escape Routes magazine, called `Don't Go There', has incensed locals in the Lancashire resort. It said if the town were a horse, it would have been put down long ago.
