Rome - Dr Maria Sung, the wife of Zambian Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo, announced yesterday that tests had shown she was not expecting a child. She married the controversial clergyman in May at a mass ceremony officiated by the Rev Sun Myung Moon. Dr Sung (43) is at the centre of a three-month saga involving a red-faced Vatican which bans marriages of Catholic clergy and Moon's cult-like Unification Church. She underwent tests at Rome's Umberto polyclinic.
