Former Pakistani cricket coach Javed Miandad has alleged his team were guilty of match-fixing on the recent tour of New Zealand.
Miandad, whose short coaching reign ended last Tuesday when the Pakistan Cricket Board removed him, turned on his players.
"Enough is enough. I was silent just for the country's sake but now I must come out in open. We have video and audio footage that can prove we lost to New Zealand due to match-fixing," Miandad told AFPin Karachi.
"Match-fixing should be eliminated from Pakistan and PCB should launch another inquiry so that facts can be ascertained."
New Zealand Cricket operations manager John Reid said he was sickened to learn of Miandad's claimed that Pakistan fixed the outcome of last month's five-match one-day series which New Zealand won 3-2 after trailing 1-2.
"It's just like a kick in the guts for the game," he said.
Pakistan lost the final one-day match against New Zealand after scoring an imposing 285.
"Our batsmen were getting out one after the other in a suspicious manner in the second match and bowlers with over 300-match experience bowled wayward in the final match," Miandad alleged, without naming anyone.
New Zealand also recovered after losing the first Test in Auckland to level the series by winning the third test by a record margin in Hamilton.
