A Raphoe publican, Mr Frank McBrearty, and his family, who last month had 160 summonses against them dropped by the DPP without explanation, have failed in their application to obtain costs at a sitting of Carndonagh District Court in Co Donegal.

Mr Peter Nolan, counsel for Mr McBrearty, said their case would be brought to the High Court.
