The Donegal night-club owner who had more than 150 summons against him withdrawn by the DPP on Wednesday was back in Letterkenny District Court yesterday.

Mr Frank McBrearty and six other named defendants, including members of his family and staff, faced a further six summons and one charge sheet.

Mr Peter Nolan, defending, said the charges all formed "part and parcel of the reign of intimidation by gardai against his client".

Judge John O'Donnell adjourned the cases to await clarification on the matter from the DPP, and listed them for mention on July 27th.
