Bogota - The novelist Gabriel Garcia Marquez was undergoing medical tests at a clinic in the Colombian capital yesterday after complaining of "general exhaustion", a hospital spokeswoman said.
Marquez (71), who was awarded the Nobel prize in 1982 for One Hundred Years of Solitude, was admitted to the Fundacion Santa Fe clinic in a suburb of Bogota.
