A man was shot in the thighs last night in an armed raid at a service station on Blessington Road in Jobstown, Dublin.

A man was shot in the thighs last night in an armed raid at a service station on Blessington Road in Jobstown, Dublin.

Four youths entered the premises shortly after 8 p.m. - and threatened the man, an employee, with a sawn-off shot-gun. They fled with the cash register and its contents in a BMW car in the direction of Saggart. The man was shot as he ran from the scene and was treated for his injuries at St James's Hospital.
