A 30-year-old man was wounded in the arm in a shooting incident in north Belfast on Wednesday night

A 30-year-old man was wounded in the arm in a shooting incident in north Belfast on Wednesday night. He was walking along Oldpark Road at around 10.30 p.m. when a gunman in a passing car fired one shot.

The victim was taken to the Mater Hospital, which he is understood to have left after treatment. The RUC said a motive for the attack had not yet been established.
