A married man who made about 20 obscene telephone calls to a 16-year-old schoolgirl last summer was jailed for five months by a District Court judge yesterday.
Judge Mary Fahey also fined Joe Fitzharris (39), of Derrynacong, Ballyhaunis, Co Mayo, a total of £1,500 for what she described as "disgusting behaviour".
The judge recalled that Fitzharris had appeared before her at Claremorris court last week for breach of a barring order.
