Gardaí are investigating a shooting at a pub in north Dublin this afternoon.

A 23-year-old man was shot in the shoulder in the Cabra House on Fassaugh Avenue at about 1.30pm.

A Garda spokeswoman said his injuries were not life threatening.

She added that the man refused medical treatment.

The scene of the shooting has been sealed off pending a technical examination.
