A man was remanded in custody yesterday after drugs with an estimated street value of €56,000 were seized at Dublin airport on Sunday.
Customs officers found 8kg of cannabis resin in a suitcase.
A man aged 22 who had arrived on a flight from Malaga was arrested and taken to Santry Garda station.
He appeared before Blanchardstown District Court, where he was remanded in custody until tomorrow for a bail application.
