One of three men being held in connection a €13 million drugs haul in Dublin at the weekend has been released without charge.

The three were arrested after a search of a business yard in Lusk on Saturday afternoon by officers from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Garda National Drugs Unit.

One tonne of cannabis resin and 30 kilos of cocaine were seized.

Gardai are continuing to question two men in relation to the seizure. The men are being held under the provisions of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Balbriggan and Swords Garda stations.

Gardaí said they were allowed to hold the suspects for up to seven days pending release or charges.
