A man was still being questioned in Lucan Garda station last night in connection with the murder of the journalist Veronica Guerin last June. The man, arrested on Sunday, is held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act which allows detention without charge for 48 hours.
A woman arrested at the same time has been released.
