A MAN who was charged on Thursday with the murder of his wife, Mrs Patricia Murphy, will be seeking bail in the High Court on Monday. Yesterday counsel for Mr David Murphy (34) of Goldsmith Street, Phibsboro, Dublin, sought an order for the production of Mr Murphy in court next Monday.
Ms Mary Ellen Ring, for Mr Murphy, said she was seeking the production order for Monday as her client had just been charged the day before. Mr Justice Kinlen said he would give short service for Monday.
The body of Mrs Murphy was found near her home off Griffith Avenue, Dublin, on May 28th last.
