Man killed in Limerick road crash

 

A man (25) has been killed in road crash in Co Limerick.

Gardaí at Bruff are investigating the circumstances of the crash which occurred in the early hours of this morning.

The man was fatally injured when the car he was driving left the road and entered a field on a minor road at Ballinacourty, Kilfinane.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to the Mid-Western Regional
Hospital for a post mortem examination.

Forensic collision investigators attended the scene and the road has since re-opened.
