An 18-year-old man has died and another has been hospitalised following a single-vehicle crash in Co Galway last night.
The incident happened at 11.40pm, 3km outside Gort, on the N81.
Both men were taken to University Hospital Galway but the driver of the vehicle later died from his injuries. The passenger is described as being in a stable condition.
The scene remains closed pending a forensic examination and diversions are in place.
