A 25-year-old man is being treated in hospital this evening for a gunshot wound to the leg following a paramilitary-style assault in Co Antrim.
The incident occurred in Monkstown, Newtownabbey shortly before 1 p.m. this afternoon.
PSNI officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault. The victim is said to be in a stable condition.
