Man injured during Dublin post office raid

A man was injured when a post office was raided in Dublin this morning.

A man was injured when a post office was raided in Dublin this morning.

An undisclosed sum of money was taken from Summerhill post office by two raiders at 10.30 a.m.

During the robbery the passenger of a post office van was hit on the head and had a liquid sprayed in his face. He was taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment.

The raiders made off on a black motorbike.
