A man in his twenties is today in a serious condition after he was found with stab wounds in the Walkinstown area of Dublin city last night.
He was found by passers-by outside the Halfway House public house on the Walkinstown Road at around 8.30 p.m.
Gardí believe the man had been abducted while in his car.
The victim was taken to St James's Hospital, and the scene at Walkinstown Road has been preserved for examination by the Garda.
