A 55-year-old man is being treated in Beaumont Hospital tonight for serious stab wounds received in an incident at a house in Swords, Co Dublin.
The man was stabbed at Rivervalley Road at around 6.45 p.m. He is described as being in a stable condition in hospital.
Gardaí say they are following a definite line of inquiry.
