Gardaí in Sligo have arrested a man (43) in connection with the disappearance of a girl in 2006.
Melissa Mahon (14), from Rathbraughan Park in Sligo town, went missing on September 13th, 2006.

The man, who was arrested this morning in Sligo town, is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Sligo Garda Station.
Gardaí, acting on information received, recovered the body of a girl from Lough Gill in February.
State Pathologist Prof Marie Cassidy conducted a postmortem in Dublin on the body, which was taken from waters near Parkes Castle, two kilometres from Sligo.
Following the discovery, a Garda spokesman said the search for Melissa had been "scaled down".
A Garda spokeswoman could not confirm today whether the remains were those of the missing girl and said the investigation was still ongoing.
