Detectives arrested a man today over a gun attack on a family home in Co Kerry on Sunday.
The 51-year-old is being questioned about shots fired at a house in Ardfert. He is being held at Tralee Garda station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
Four shots were fired at the rear door of a house at An Fearann in Ardfert at around 10pm on Sunday night.
A family of two adults and four children were inside at the time but escaped uninjured.
Local gardaí, backed up by the regional support unit from Cork, arrested the man at West Commons in Ardfert at
around 7.30am today.
