Detectives last night seized cannabis resin with an estimated value of €100,000 during a search of a house in Cork city.
One man was arrested by officers from the Cork City Divisional Drug Unit after the raid in the Mahon area. Eight kilos of cannabis resin were seized.
The man (29) is being held under the Drug Trafficking Act 1996.
