Man held over Belfast pub shooting

The PSNI has arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with a shooting outside a Belfast city centre pub.

The PSNI has arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with a shooting outside a Belfast city centre pub.

A number of shots were fired at the front door of Fibber Magee's bar in Blackstaff Square early yesterday morning.

A police spokesman said two houses in the Belfast area had been searched and a number of items removed for forensic examination.

No-one was injured in the attack.
