Man held for NI woman's murder

A man has appeared before Newry Magistrates' Court charged with the murder of Ms Rose Marie Moran more than five years ago.

A man has appeared before Newry Magistrates' Court charged with the murder of Ms Rose Marie Moran more than five years ago.

The body of Ms Moran, a civil servant, was discovered at her Clontigora home in August 1991. The accused, Mr Philip Andrew Quigley (23), of St Nicholas Avenue, Dundalk, was remanded in custody until February 12th.
