A man found with serious head injuries in Limerick last night remains in a critical condition today.
A garda spokesman said the man, believed to have been in his 40s, was found in a laneway between Dominic Street and Parnell Street in the city at around 11 p.m. He was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital where he remains unconscious today.
Gardai are investigating the circumstances, but have not released any further details. They are appealing for anyone with information to contact the garda at Roxborough on 061-419555
