Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a body on a roadside in Co Limerick.
The man (49) was found close to an industrial estate on Bruree Road, Kilmallock, before midnight last night.
A Garda spokeswoman said the body was still at the scene and that the State Pathologist was to carry out an examination. She said the cause of the man's death was unknown, despite reports he was the victim of a hit-and-run.
Officers are asking anyone who may have travelled on the road between 11 p.m. and midnight last night to come forward.
