Man for court over fatal Dublin shooting

A man is due to appear in court tomorrow in Dublin in connection with the fatal shooting of a man almost two years ago.

A man is due to appear in court tomorrow in Dublin in connection with the fatal shooting of a man almost two years ago.

The 28-year-old will appear at Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30am charged in connection with the investigation into the death of Dara McCormack on February 11th 2006.

Mr McCormack (21) was shot at Whitestown Park, Blanchardstown. He later died at Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown.

Following his death, it emerged  that he may have been shot over a small sum of money owed to drug dealers known to him.
