A 19 year-old man is due in court tomorrow morning following an incident in Blanchardstown on Halloween night that left a 24 year-old man in a critical condition.
The injured man was taken to Connolly Memorial Hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning following an incident near a bonfire in Blanchardstown.
It is understood the man sustained his injuries in the Whitestown Gardens area of Blanchardstown at about 1.40am.
The 19 year-old man was arrested under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and is being held at Blanchardstown Garda station.
Elsewhere, ten individuals arrested in Dublin following a row in which two members of the garda were injured have been released without charge.
A group of about 30 youths was involved in the incident and 10 people were arrested and taken to the Bridewell Garda Station.
A file is being sent to the DPP.
