A man is to appear in Limerick District Court today in connection with a drugs and firearms seizure in the city.
The 37-year-old man faces charges connected to the discovery of two handguns and cannabis found earlier this week. The drugs, with an estimated street value of €1,700, were found on Wednesday night.
They were discovered as part of follow-up searches after the man was arrested near Roxboro that night.
He was taken to Roxboro Garda station, where he was questioned in connection with the seizure.
