A man has died following a house fire in west Cork.
The blaze broke out at a house in the coastal village of Kilcrohane, near Bantry some time before 1.50am.
Fire services from Schull and Bantry attended the scene.
A man in his 30s was removed by ambulance but was declared dead on arrival at Bantry General Hospital.
Gardaí have begun an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
