A man died and a woman was seriously injured in a fire which broke out at a house in Dublin yesterday evening.
Firefighters from Tallaght fire station attended the scene in Kiltalawn Road, Tallaght following an emergency call from gardaí at 7.55pm.
The fire was out by the time they arrived.
The man, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman sustained serious burns on her face and hands and was taken to Tallaght hospital for treatment for burns and smoke inhalation.
