A man (32) has died in hospital after a single-car crash in Co Limerick early this morning.
His car crashed on the N69 at Cowpark, Kilcornan at about 1am. The victim was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital where he died this afternoon.
Gardaí at Pallaskenry are investigating.
Elsewhere, a woman died after being knocked down in Co Galway this morning. The woman, said to be in her 50s, was walking alongside the N17 at Claregalway at 9.30am when she was struck by a car.
Neither victim has been named.
