A man aged 40 has died in a fire at a block of flats in Co Armagh.
The fire started at around 7 a.m. this morning in a first floor flat in Westland Road, Portadown, and spread to the roof of an adjoining block of flats.
A man who was passing the scene tried to rescue the man who died, but was hampered by the smoke and flames.
