A man died in a crash on the N1 north of Dundalk, Co Louth this morning.
The crash between an articulated lorry and a car happened at 4.30 a.m. at Feede, Mountpleasant, four miles north of the town.
The 23-year-old driver of the car died and the truck driver was treated for minor injuries at Louth County hospital.
The northbound carriageway of the M1 remains blocked and diversions are in place, gardaí said.
