A man in his 50s has died following a house fire in Maxwell Street, in the Dolphin's Barn area of Dublin.
The fire started just after 7 p.m. yesterday. The man was the sole occupant of the house. It has emerged that emergency services tending the fire were unaware the man was still in the house.
He was taken to St James's Hospital but died shortly afterwards.
