Man dies after fall from roof at Curragh
A building worker has died after falling from the roof of a 40-foot-high shed at the Curragh camp. Mr Micheal Mortimer (19), from Mountrath, Co Laois, fell off the shed he was working on at about 9.30 on Monday morning. He was taken by Army ambulance to Naas hospital and then to Beaumont Hospital where he later died.
A spokeswoman for the Health and Safety Authority said it was investigating the incident.
