A man in his 30s was killed this morning in County Roscommon after he was struck by a lorry.
The man, from Kilcolman Estate in Castlerea, had been driving his own lorry but went to help another driver who was having a mechanical problem.
He was hit by the other lorry and fatally injured.
The man, who has not yet been named, was taken to the county hospital in Roscommon.
